Salesforce was back for a second year as a Go Code Colorado partner. You likely know Salesforce runs the largest customer relationship management software platform in the world, but it is also a total cloud computing company with a wide variety of products. Whether you’re a developer, a marketer, or somewhere in between, Salesforce offers a variety of products and services that can make the process of scaling your business more efficient.
This includes the Salesforce App Cloud, where developers can build, scale and manage all of your apps on a single, unified platform. Go Code teams had the option to deploy apps for free on the Heroku platform before and during challenge weekend.
And to help with that, or all kinds of other technical questions, we were pleased to have James Ward, Principal Platform Evangelist at Salesforce.com, join us at the Western Slope challenge weekend sites. James brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist participants in this year’s challenge and enjoyed the opportunity to pitch in from essentially his own back yard, as someone who calls Gunnison County home. He even found some time for a bit of live-blogging, showing how easy it is to pull Colorado public data into Salesforce.
