WESTERN SLOPE BUSINESS PRODUCT TRACK
TEAM NAME: The Cavalcade of Whimsy
TEAM CAPTAIN: Shane Daniels
SUMMARY: (app name Bestaurants) Bestaurants combines public data with Yelp reviews to score areas on forecasted sales, demographic summaries, and other key points utilized by restaurant owners in selecting their location.
TEAM NAME: TechSlope
TEAM CAPTAIN: Marc Fiot
SUMMARY: (app name PropertyUsage) PropertyUsage is both an app and embeddable widget that rates the viability of a given commercial property based on indicators from public data including current usage, crime, traffic, average income, and financial incentive tax zoning.
TEAM NAME: Colorado Adventure V2
TEAM CAPTAIN: Karl Castleton
SUMMARY: Voice enabled app combining public data on trails and species habitat with demographic data to generate profiles for zip codes that allow outdoor recreation business owners to target sales and marketing outreach.

SUMMARY: Analysis helping small businesses strategize advertisement spending outside of online platforms through the use of publicly available retail reports and demographics.
TEAM NAME: Colorado Restaurant Assistant

SUMMARY: Analysis exploring the connection between demographic variables, restaurant inspections and business longevity determined by business open date and status for restaurants in Colorado to provide County-level insights to business owners looking to start a new business.
TEAM NAME: Childcare Marketplace

SUMMARY: Analysis demonstrating the relationships between demographic and economic factors with the availability and affordability of childcare to help business owners understand the value of providing childcare to their workforce.
FRONT RANGE BUSINESS PRODUCT TRACK
TEAM NAME: EnrollMe
TEAM CAPTAIN: Josh Saunders
SUMMARY: Web application for visualizing public school performance data so administrators of charter schools, new owners of charter schools, and any given business owner looking to locate a new business can see high performing schools in a variety of metrics like current/historical performance metrics and financial history to determine how to open a new school or determine what neighborhood to locate their business in so their employees have access to quality education for their children.
TEAM NAME: Trackers
TEAM CAPTAIN: Ed Vigil
SUMMARY: (app name Position My Kitchen) Position my Kitchen provides food truck vendors with a web application to locate optimum sites and times using public data about brewery and office locations, pedestrian traffic, farmers markets and Colorado events in combination with demographic data.
TEAM NAME: Responciv
TEAM CAPTAIN: Jonah Walker
SUMMARY: A lobbying intelligence app that allows local business owners to learn about and influence lobbying on legislation that may affect their business through the use of publicly available data on past lobbying efforts and dollars spent in Colorado.
FRONT RANGE BUSINESS ANALYTICS TRACK

TEAM CAPTAIN: Scott Stoltzman
SUMMARY: Analysis forecasting times when water surplus will be released downstream (aka “free river” events) based on publicly available historical data to inform owners of oil and gas companies when they can capture water required for their processing that would otherwise be required to purchase at non-surplus times.
TEAM NAME: Regis Voter Datalytics
TEAM CAPTAIN: Meng “Leo” Luo
SUMMARY: Analysis combining demographic and voter registration data to assist politically minded business decision makers seeking to identify and reach voters, volunteers and donors by understanding the makeup of a given geographic location.
TEAM NAME: Sucesso

SUMMARY: Analysis providing pavement pricing and forecasting combined with public data on Highway Quality and projected project needs for civil engineering Construction Materials Procurement buyers looking to utilize recycled materials in future projects.
