The 2016 Go Code Colorado Kick-off is happening earlier this year — February 3, 2016.

The kick off event is a celebration of the Colorado tech and entrepreneurship community. The 2016 challenge statement—the business problem that participants will be asked to address during the app challenge—will be unveiled to allow the teams to work on their apps and business concepts much earlier and longer than previous years.

At stake: a mentor weekend in Boulder for the 10 semi-finalist teams, and $25,000 for the final three winning teams.

Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams as well as other government and business leaders will welcome those interested in civic engagement and tech entrepreneurship.

Whether you are an app developer, entrepreneur, member of the press or a curious citizen—the kickoff event has become a can’t-miss event for anyone wanting to network in and keep a pulse of the Colorado tech entrepreneurship community.

Appetizers & drinks will be served at Galvanize Platte in Downtown Denver.

We’re very pleased to announce a panel of experts to discuss this year’s challenge statement. Been-there-done-that entrepreneurs, data pros, and all around wise minds:

Vipanj Patel (Moderator), CEO, TAAZ, Sight Commerce. Co-founder and Partner, iSherpa Captial.

Sean Bair, Founder and President, Bair Analytics.

Kathy Keating, VP Software Engineering at AUTOPAY

Cheryl Kellond, Entrepreneur, Business Development and Advisor, NymblScience
